Skylight blinds are a specialist honeycomb blind option designed for roof windows, sloped windows and skylights where a standard window blind is not suitable
Our current skylight blind option is a made-to-measure honeycomb skylight blind, available in light-filtering or blockout fabrics depending on how much light control you need. They help soften glare, improve privacy where needed, and add the insulating benefits honeycomb blinds are known for
Skylight honeycomb blinds can be operated in three ways: manually with a handle on the bottom rail if the skylight is easy to reach, manually with a telescopic pole for higher skylights, or motorised for the easiest day-to-day operation
Available as DIY or with our measure-and-install SERVICE in selected areas. Please email a photo of your skylight, enter your measurements through our Get a Quote form, and advise what option best suits how you want to operate the blind

Skylights and roof windows are great for natural light, but they can also bring extra glare, heat and brightness into a room. A standard window blind is not usually suitable for a sloped skylight, so a specialist skylight blind is needed
Our skylight blinds are made-to-measure honeycomb blinds designed to sit neatly within suitable skylight and roof-window openings. They help soften harsh overhead light, improve room comfort, and give you better control over bright or hard-to-reach windows
Honeycomb skylight blinds use a cellular fabric structure that traps air inside the blind. This helps improve insulation and makes them a practical choice for skylights, where heat gain and heat loss can be more noticeable than on standard vertical windows
They are a smart option for bedrooms, living rooms, stairwells, offices and high windows where you want a cleaner, more modern alternative to leaving the skylight uncovered
Our current skylight blind option is a honeycomb skylight blind, available in light-filtering or blockout fabric depending on the room and the level of light control you want
Manual skylight blinds are a good option where the skylight is easy enough to reach. The blind is operated using a handle on the bottom rail, so you can open or close it by hand without needing motorisation
For higher skylights, the same manual skylight blind can be operated with a telescopic pole. This gives you a more cost-effective option than motorisation where remote-control operation is not required
Manual skylight honeycomb blinds are available in a 25mm single-cell honeycomb fabric, making them a practical choice for reachable roof windows, lower sloped windows, or rooms where the blind will only be adjusted occasionally
Motorised skylight blinds are the easiest option for high, awkward or frequently used skylights. Instead of reaching up by hand or using a pole, the blind is operated by remote control
This is especially useful for hard-to-reach roof windows, high ceilings, stairwells, bedrooms, offices and living areas where the skylight may need to be adjusted regularly throughout the day
Motorised skylight honeycomb blinds are available in selected 45mm honeycomb fabrics, with single-cell or double-cell options depending on the setup required
Light-filtering skylight blinds are best when you want to soften bright overhead light while still keeping the room feeling naturally lit. They are a good choice for living areas, kitchens, offices and spaces where glare control is more important than room darkening
Blockout skylight blinds are better where you want stronger light reduction, such as bedrooms, media rooms, nurseries or skylights that receive strong direct sun
Both options retain the insulating benefit honeycomb blinds are known for, so the main decision is whether you want soft filtered daylight or a darker result
Skylight blinds can be supplied for DIY or as part of our measure-and-install service in selected areas. The best option depends on your location, the skylight position, access, and how confident you are measuring and installing a specialist blind
Please send a photo of your skylight, enter your measurements through our Get a Quote form, and advise the option that best suits how you want to operate the blind

Choose from a practical range of honeycomb skylight blind colours, available in blockout and light-filtering fabrics Light-filtering skylight blinds are a good choice when you want to soften bright overhead light while still keeping the room naturally lit. Blockout skylight blinds are better where stronger light reduction is needed, such as bedrooms, media rooms, nurseries or skylights that receive direct sun For skylights and roof windows, many customers choose neutral tones such as white, cream, grey or soft natural colours, as these sit quietly against the ceiling and help keep the overall look clean and modern. Colour availability is not affected by the cell size, so your colour choice is mainly about appearance and whether you prefer light-filtering or blockout fabric You’ll still get the insulating benefit honeycomb blinds are known for, with blockout fabric offering a small thermal edge over light-filtering fabric)
Skylight blinds are normally measured as an inside fit, with the blind sitting inside the skylight or roof-window opening. This gives the neatest result and keeps the blind contained within the frame or jamb Measure the clear inside opening carefully and enter your measurements in millimetres through the Get a Quote form. Please do not make any factory deductions yourself — we’ll handle the required deductions when manufacturing your blinds For skylight blinds, a photo is also helpful so we can see the frame, angle, access and any possible obstructions
Measure the inside width of the skylight opening in three places — near the top, middle and bottom of the opening Record the smallest width and use that as your width measurement. This helps allow for any small variation if the skylight frame is not perfectly square
Measure the inside drop/height of the skylight opening in three places — left side, centre and right side Record the smallest drop and use that as your drop measurement. For sloped skylights, measure along the inside opening where the blind will sit
Enter your smallest width and drop measurements in millimetres through the Get a Quote form Please also send a clear photo of the skylight. A photo helps us see the skylight frame, angle, access and any possible obstructions before quoting. Helps us advise you of anything requiring consideration
